Fenix Product Announcement - RC01 new smaller rechargeable light

Details so far are limited, but here's what Fenix is saying -

"RC01 - newest RC series rechargeable flashlight, 460 max lumens, USB compatible, size of the PD32, June* release date."

With an output of 460 lumens, this light should be smaller than the RC10.  The USB charging will be an awesome feature allowing you to charge the light in a car, on your computer, etc.

Federal Government Sequestration, Post Office shutdowns and how it affects us and you

Hi Gears,

So the gov. is in a bit of a pickle and as such they have had to cut a few $$$ from the budget.  This means less cash for the USPS which in turn means they are shutting down some offices and services.  Here in Salem, OR we have a pretty large mail distribution center.  That distribution center, up until May 1st, 2013 would accept packages as late as 8:45pm and would still get them out for delivery same day.  By delivery I mean out to the next post office.  This means I was able to ship packages late in to the day.  However, as a result of the budget cuts, our distribution center will now be closing at 5:45pm.  This means I've had to move the order deadline per day from 5pm PST, to 4pm PST.  

I do apologize to everyone that enjoys placing those late orders.  Unfortunately, UPS is expensive, Fedex closes at 5pm and USPS now closes at 5:45pm.  From here on, orders placed after 4pm PST will almost certainly ship next day.

Fenix PD32UE, now in stock. May be the last time!

I just had a box of 50 Fenix PD32UEs show up.  I have been informed this may be my last shipment of this light, ever.

In the months to come a new model will be released.  The Fenix PD35.  No details or pricing info yet.

[Last call] Last 50 Fenix PD32UEs?

Hi Gears,

I have been informed that we have 50 Fenix PD32UEs shipping out to us this week.  We had hoped to get more.  It sounds like Fenix America received fewer lights than originally anticipated.  After divvying them up, this is our share.

For now we don't expect there to be any beyond this number.  If that changes, this will be the first place we announce it.

Out of those 50, some have already been pre-sold.  If you want one, we highly recommend you place your order now.
